From Purmamarca's famous Hill of Seven Colours to the remote mountain village of Iruya — hidden in a gorge at 2,780 metres — this journey takes you deep into one of Argentina's most remarkable and spiritual landscapes. Day 1
Transfer from the local airport to your hotel and accommodation. Enjoy a walking tour of Salta's beautiful colonial centre — the Plaza 9 de Julio, the Cathedral and the historic streets of the city.
Day 2
Depart into the UNESCO-listed Quebrada de Humahuaca. Visit Purmamarca and its iconic Hill of Seven Colours, then Tilcara with its pre-Columbian pucará fortress. Continue to Uquía to see its colonial church and the extraordinary paintings of the Ángeles Arcabuceros. Overnight in Humahuaca.
Day 3
Drive through the village of Iturbe and ascend to Abra del Cóndor at 3,900 metres, then descend into the dramatic gorge to reach Iruya — one of Argentina's most remote and magical villages, accessible only by a single mountain road. Overnight in Tilcara.

Community
Depart from Tilcara to the Quebrada de Sapagua for a walk through the landscape, then visit the small community of Hornaditas — where local families open the doors of their homes and share their way of life in the high Andes.
